The collaboration underscores KLGCC’s ongoing commitment to elevating playing standards across its 36-hole championship layout through the adoption of advanced, sustainable and data-driven turf and irrigation technologies.

Under the partnership, Jebsen & Jessen will support a phased upgrading programme at KLGCC, introducing modern Toro turf maintenance equipment and advanced irrigation systems. KLGCC, which has hosted more than 24 professional tournaments, is expected to benefit from enhanced playing conditions across both its East and West Courses. The initiative aims to ensure consistently high standards that meet the expectations of elite golfers while optimising resource usage.

Calver said the partnership reflects KLGCC’s focus on excellence, innovation and environmental stewardship, adding that integrating advanced turf and irrigation systems will further strengthen the club’s reputation as a leading golfing destination in Southeast Asia.
Hoffmann described the collaboration as a significant milestone for golf course management in the region, noting that the integration of high-performance turf solutions with precision irrigation systems sets a new benchmark for sustainability and playability. He added that Malaysia remains a key market for Jebsen & Jessen, and the partnership reinforces the group’s commitment to innovation-driven operational excellence.
Jebsen & Jessen Technology – Turf & Irrigation is the primary distributor and service provider for Toro products in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia, supplying solutions not only to golf courses but also to parks and stadiums.
Beyond equipment deployment, the partnership will also focus on long-term capability building through joint training initiatives and the adoption of evolving course management innovations. Over its five-year term, the collaboration is expected to further reinforce KLGCC’s world-class standing while supporting Sime Darby Property’s broader focus on quality, resilience and responsible stewardship across its leisure developments.
