Kuala Lumpur, 7th Feb 2025, 11.00am – LBS Bina Group Berhad is gearing up to launch property projects worth a combined gross development value (GDV) of RM8 billion over the next three years, strengthening its position as a key player in Malaysia’s housing sector.
The company unveiled its 8 x 8 strategy, a corporate roadmap spanning 2025 to 2027, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market reach, and integrating advanced construction technologies to meet evolving housing demands.
Strategic Growth for Sustainable Development
Group executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock Seng stated that the strategy would reinforce LBS’ market leadership and establish a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
“The 8 x 8 strategy is designed to elevate our development plans, optimize our land bank, and embrace innovation. We remain committed to delivering homes that enable Malaysians to achieve homeownership,” he said.
The strategy focuses on eight key areas: residential, industrial, and commercial development; land bank optimization; pursuit of excellence; employee empowerment; customer experience; sustainability progress; and community well-being.
LBS’ upcoming projects will include a mix of high-rise and landed homes across the Klang Valley, Pahang, Johor, and Perak, catering to diverse market demands.
Expanding Beyond Property Development
While property development remains its core focus, LBS is also venturing into renewable energy. The company’s 45-megawatt solar farm in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, is set to commence operations by the end of 2025, supporting Malaysia’s clean energy transition while generating recurring income for the group.
High-Profile Chinese New Year Celebration
Lim made these announcements during LBS’ Chinese New Year luncheon, attended by dignitaries including Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah. Other notable attendees included Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, and Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.
The event, held in Kuala Lumpur, welcomed over 1,000 guests, including shareholders, business partners, and media representatives.
