KUALA LUMPUR, 21 June 2023 – Sime Darby Property Bhd has introduced the Servis Apartmen Mampu Milik (SAMM) homes at Serasi Residences in the Putra Heights township. The developer held a special open day event in collaboration with Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS) at the Putra Heights Sales Gallery, which attracted over 500 attendees. The open day provided first-time homebuyers with a streamlined process, including document verification, eligibility checks, loan consultations, and sale and purchase agreement signing.
Through a balloting process, eligible individuals were able to secure their new homes promptly. Sime Darby Property reported that 188 SAMM units were successfully booked through their online booking system (OBS), marking the property developer’s first digital mass balloting. The collaboration with LPHS facilitated instant approvals for 70 walk-in customers who qualified for SAMM units. Additionally, 103 Open Market units from Tower 1 were also booked during the event, further demonstrating the attractiveness of Serasi Residences.
Serasi Residences consists of 1,428 units of freehold service apartments. The SAMM homes, with a size of 550 sq ft, are priced at a controlled fixed rate of RM250,000 as set by LPHS. Datuk Lai Shu Wei, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, emphasized the goal of bridging the homeownership gap among middle-income consumers by offering affordable housing in prime locations and attractive price points. This initiative aligns with the rapid development of townships and the expansion of public transportation systems in the Klang Valley.
