KUALA LUMPUR, 20 June 2023 – UEM Sunrise Berhad, a prominent property developer, introduced their latest project, The Connaught One, in Cheras during an impressive grand launch event on June 24. The event, held at Forest Valley Hall in Bandar Mahkota Cheras, attracted over 800 attendees, including participants from UEM Sunrise’s customer loyalty program, Trésor, as well as residents of Residensi AVA, Klang Valley, and the Cheras community.
During the launch, Kenny Wong, UEM Sunrise’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized that The Connaught One is their first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and the inaugural residence in their RISE Series under the Happy+ product line. This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to categorize future residential offerings based on the unique lifestyles and needs of homebuyers at different stages of life.
Wong expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to The Connaught One’s launch, which reinforces public confidence in UEM Sunrise’s value-driven and future-proof developments. The event, hosted by Nadia Heng, featured engaging activities such as a lucky draw, a photobooth resembling an MRT train cabin, and street food inspired by the nearby night market. Attendees had the opportunity to view the scale model of The Connaught One.
Tower A of The Connaught One has already achieved an impressive 85% take-up rate. Spanning a 1.4-hectare area in Cheras, this freehold development has a gross development value of RM747 million. Comprising two 53-storey towers, Tower A and B, The Connaught One will offer 1,334 service apartment units and 15 retail lots, catering to first-time homebuyers, professionals, and multi-generational families.
