Kuala Lumpur, 23th September 2025, 12.28pm – SP Setia Bhd has announced key leadership changes with the appointment of Tan Hwa Min as deputy chief executive officer (CEO) effective Nov 17, and Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus as chief operating officer (COO) effective Oct 1. The move follows the recent appointment of Datuk Zaini Yusoff as president and CEO, also effective Oct 1.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property developer said the new appointments reflect its ongoing strategy to cultivate internal talent while attracting seasoned external leaders to strengthen its senior management team.
Tan Hwa Min’s appointment
Tan currently serves as chief strategy officer at IJM Corporation Bhd and managing director of IJM RE Sdn Bhd, bringing more than 15 years of experience in property development and strategic transformation.
Previously, Tan was the COO of TRX City Sdn Bhd, where he played a pivotal role in the development of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), a landmark project in Kuala Lumpur.
Yuslina’s expanded role
Meanwhile, Datuk Yuslina, who joined SP Setia in 2018 after her tenure with I&P Group, is currently senior executive vice-president. Her responsibilities span six major townships, stakeholder operations, asset management, and the SP Setia Foundation.
