“Citaglobal secures RM82.7 million infrastructure contracts in Johor Bahru and Labuan, lifting its order book to RM1.8 billion.”
Kuala Lumpur, 23th December 2025, 05.30pm – Citaglobal Bhd has secured two new infrastructure contracts with a combined value of RM82.7 million, strengthening its project pipeline and expanding its presence in urban development and transport infrastructure.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd (CLSB), was awarded the contracts for projects in Johor Bahru and Labuan.
The first contract, valued at RM62.42 million, was awarded by UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd, a unit of UDA Holdings Bhd. The project involves carrying out main infrastructure works for the UDA Enclave development in Bandar UDA Utama, Johor Bahru.
Awarded through an open tender, the scope of works includes site clearing, earthworks, construction of retaining walls, roads and drainage systems, sewerage and water reticulation, as well as electrical infrastructure. The development is intended to support modern family-oriented residential homes and commercial units, with completion targeted for July 2027.
Separately, CLSB also secured a RM20.3 million design-and-build contract from the Public Works Department for the Labuan Jetty Upgrading Project, which was awarded through a pre-qualification tender.
The project scope includes the construction of new ticketing facilities, passenger waiting and inspection areas, as well as upgrades to the main and secondary ramps. Associated mechanical, electrical and external works are also part of the contract, with completion scheduled for April 2028.
Following the latest wins, Citaglobal said its outstanding order book has risen to RM1.8 billion.
Earlier in 2025, the group secured several major contracts, including a RM628 million raw water supply and flood mitigation project in Selangor, as well as a RM168.88 million Public Works Department contract to upgrade a key section of Federal Route 3.
Beyond civil engineering, Citaglobal has also ventured into renewable energy after securing a project under the LSS5+ programme, involving the development of a 200-megawatt floating solar photovoltaic facility at Chereh Dam in Kuantan.
Commenting on the developments, Citaglobal executive chairman and president Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria said the latest contracts reflect continued confidence in the group’s ability to deliver critical infrastructure across multiple sectors.
He added that the company remains focused on responsible project execution while building a diversified and resilient infrastructure platform to support long-term growth.
