Gamuda Land Showcases Samsung’s Bespoke AI Home at The Camellia, Gamuda Cove

Gamuda Land introduces Samsung’s Bespoke AI Home in Gamuda Cove, with nearly 90% of phase 1 of The Camellia already sold. Prices start at RM1.45 million.”

Kuala Lumpur, 14th Aug 2024, 15.16pm – Gamuda Land, the property division of Gamuda Bhd, has begun showcasing Samsung Malaysia’s Bespoke AI Home at The Camellia show unit in Gamuda Cove, Kuala Langat, as announced in a press statement on Tuesday (Aug 13).

Gamuda Land CEO Chu Wai Lune expressed pride in being the first property developer to partner with Samsung to feature their Bespoke AI Home in the 5G-enabled Gamuda Cove township. Chu highlighted that this integration of AI technology aligns with the company’s commitment to offering smart, sustainable, and high-quality living solutions. He added that by introducing advanced home automation and energy-efficient appliances, Gamuda Land is enhancing everyday living while promoting a more sustainable future.

Chu further added, “This partnership underscores our commitment to creating environments that meet the evolving needs of our homeowners, making modern living both convenient and environmentally responsible.”

The Bespoke AI Home showcases a range of AI-powered appliances from Samsung Malaysia, designed to enhance entertainment, streamline household chores, and maintain optimal indoor temperatures. Key features include Bixby, an AI voice assistant; The Frame, a customizable display; the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo; and the Windfree air-conditioner inverter one-way cassette.

“The Samsung Bespoke AI Home at The Camellia, Gamuda Cove embodies our vision for the future of home appliances, showcasing innovations in efficiency, connectivity, and personalization. In collaboration with Gamuda Land, we’re giving homeowners a preview of hyper-connected smart homes. This comprehensive smart home experience illustrates how Samsung’s AI-integrated appliances, powered by SmartThings, seamlessly work together, making home management effortless and allowing consumers to enjoy more while doing less,” stated Samsung Malaysia President Denny Kim.

Chu also highlighted the positive reception of The Camellia, stating, “The strong market response, with nearly 90% of phase 1 fully sold, reflects the success of our residential offerings and the high demand for quality living in Gamuda Cove.”

Launched in February this year, The Camellia consists of 174 two-story semi-detached homes with a gross development value of RM334 million. It offers three layout options — Type A (2,600 sq ft), Type B (3,055 sq ft), and Type C (3,200 sq ft) — with prices starting from RM1.45 million.

The Bespoke AI Home appliances will be available in the Type B layout, with prices for this option starting from RM1.82 million.
