Kuala Lumpur, 11th June 2024 – S P Setia Bhd received the Heritage Award at the FIABCI World Prix D’Excellence Awards 2024 in Singapore for the Battersea Power Station project on May 30.
S P Setia was part of a Malaysian consortium, which included Sime Darby Property Bhd, Employees Provident Fund, and Permodalan Nasional Bhd, responsible for revitalizing the iconic London landmark.

The group also received certificates from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) at their awards ceremony in Putrajaya on June 7, honoring the gold award winners of the FIABCI World Prix D’Excellence Awards 2024.
S P Setia chief operating officer Datuk Zaini Yusoff, who attended the event, noted that KPKT’s recognition of the gold awards included the company’s past achievements from their various developments.
The project spans 42 acres of prime London real estate, featuring 3.5 million sq ft of mixed-use commercial space, 4,000 residences, and the 164-room art’otel London Battersea Power Station.

To date, S P Setia holds the world record for the most gold award wins globally, with a total of 17 FIABCI World Gold Prix d’Excellence Awards.
Set to become London’s next vibrant hub and destination, the newly revitalized Battersea Power Station boasts a gross development value (GDV) of approximately £9 billion (RM52 billion) and was acquired by its current shareholders in 2012.
