Kuala Lumpur, 26th Nov 2024, 10.16am – The first phase of the KL Wellness City development in Bukit Jalil has reached 40% completion, ahead of schedule, according to KL Wellness City’s executive director of branding, sales, and marketing, Datuk Seri Vincent Tiew. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the KL Wellness City Gallery on Monday.
Launched in May, the RM900 million phase includes the KL International Tertiary Hospital (KLIH) and The Nobel Healthcare Park. Construction is progressing well, with full completion targeted for the first quarter of 2026.
KLIH will feature 25 operating theatres and 645 hospital beds, expandable to 1,000. Meanwhile, The Nobel Healthcare Park will offer 379 medical suites for healthcare professionals, 41 business suites for healthcare-related enterprises, and 512 wellness suites—smaller residential units designed for health-focused living.
During the event, KL Wellness City signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Thailand’s CISW Holdings Group Co Ltd, a company specializing in healthcare service promotion through events. As part of the MOU, Tiew will be a keynote speaker at the Top Global Wellness Summit 2025 in Bangkok.
The summit, scheduled for June 11-14, 2025, will include workshops, networking opportunities, business matchmaking, and site visits, showcasing global advancements in healthcare and wellness.
