PUCHONG, 25 Sep 2023 – IOI Properties Group celebrated the launch of Sierra Fresco and the new IOI Galleria at its 16 Sierra township, Puchong South, over the weekend, offering the surrounding community a weekend filled with festivities and entertainment.
In an official statement, IOI Properties described Sierra Fresco as a dynamic 10-acre commercial hub designed to provide convenience and lifestyle options to the community. With a total net lettable area of 98,000 sq ft, Sierra Fresco is fully managed by IOI Properties and features popular brands like Village Grocer, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, CU Mart, Anytime Fitness, Subway, and A&W.
IOI Properties also introduced its new IOI Galleria @ 16 Sierra, located within Sierra Fresco.
“The new sales gallery complements the vibrant atmosphere of Sierra Fresco, offering prospective buyers a space to explore, discover, and envision their future within the 16 Sierra community,” IOI Properties stated.
Teh Chin Guan, group chief operating officer of IOI Properties, emphasized their vision for Sierra Fresco as more than just a commercial hub. They aim to create a thriving community lifestyle destination that enhances the lives of residents and promotes vitality.
“With our lineup of attractive shops and outlets, we are confident that Sierra Fresco will serve as a junction not only for residents of 16 Sierra but also for the wider community in the vicinity,” Teh noted.
As part of their commitment to reducing the carbon footprint, Sierra Fresco has implemented several low-carbon initiatives, including electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and solar-powered street lights. They also plan to install a solar photovoltaic (PV) System to generate clean energy for their sales gallery’s consumption.
In a bid to encourage green living, Sierra Fresco has dedicated 6,504 sq ft of its commercial space to urban farming, promoting healthy, locally grown produce and environmental sustainability.
IOI Properties revealed that the next 12 months will be a busy period for 16 Sierra as they introduce more projects to the market. This includes two new parcels of landed developments, 2-storey terrace houses, and 3-storey townhouses scheduled for launch in December 2023. In February 2024, they plan to introduce a new transit-oriented development (TOD) offering around 600 units of 2 to 4-bedroom service apartments within walking distance of the 16 Sierra MRT Station.
