“Parkwood Holdings plans to launch a modern landed residential community on newly acquired land in Rawang by Q3 2026, blending urban convenience with serene living.“
Kuala Lumpur, 04th Nov 2024, 11.00am – Parkwood Holdings Bhd, through its fully owned subsidiary Parkwood Templers Sdn Bhd, has purchased five freehold land parcels in Rawang, spanning 32.3 acres (13.1ha), for RM30.9 million.
In a Friday statement, Parkwood announced plans to transform this land cluster into a modern landed residential community, with an anticipated launch by the third quarter of 2026.
The company added that this acquisition supports its property development growth, stating, “This aligns with Parkwood’s strategic focus on creating master-planned communities that blend sustainable living with a community-centered lifestyle, nature, and accessibility.”
Parkwood’s executive chairman, Lim Chin Sean, emphasized the group’s commitment to sustainably expanding its land bank in Malaysia through targeted acquisitions. “This recent acquisition allows us to meet growing demand for premium residential properties while leveraging Rawang’s peaceful and private setting.
“We’re confident that this project will enhance future earnings and provide a landed residential development that combines urban convenience with a serene lifestyle for residents,” he added.
